The brand

Ryobi started in Hiroshima in 1943 as a die-casting company. Techtronic Industries (TTI) now owns the outdoor power brand for North America, and the One+ 18V platform is the reason Ryobi exists in most American garages: it’s the biggest tool platform you can buy at Home Depot on 18 volts.

Where they fit

Ryobi is where consumer-grade cordless lives. The 40V line (RY40LM30 mower, RY40203 trimmer, RY40530 chainsaw) is the yard-tool side. The 18V One+ line is everything else. Runtime and torque both trail EGO and DeWalt, but the tool prices are about half, and the platform has been shipping compatible batteries since 2005.

What we stock for them

Replacement mower blades for the 20″ decks, trimmer heads and pre-wound spools for the Reel-Easy and EXPAND-IT shaft systems, chainsaw bars and chains for the 14″ saws, and brush replacement kits for the older brushed-motor 18V versions. Our 40V Max-compatible chargers pass the Ryobi handshake and will not trip the tool.
