The PS250 is one of the few chainsaws Oregon themselves manufactured (most of their saw business is OEM-supply). A 40V Max pole saw with a 10-inch bar reachable out to about ten feet; good for limbing without a ladder.
The telescoping pole latch mechanism is aluminum-on-aluminum and wears oval. The chain-oil pump is a positive-displacement design — it needs bar oil of a specific viscosity (20W) or it cavitates. The bar is proprietary.
Chain sharpening every half-cord. Pole lock inspection every spring. Use Oregon-spec bar oil only — generic hydraulic oil will damage the pump.
